While localStorage has gone under a bit of scrutiny fairly recently for being ill-performant, this use case seems to fit just right.

The demo outlines how you could make use of localStorage to save entered form data in case of the erroneous back button mouse button click or accidental refresh keystroke that can completely ruin your day. Neat stuff.
